2:1 Coaching and Mediation

Our 2:1 coaching and mediation services are a unique and specialist offering.

Designed to facilitate transformative conversations between leaders, fostering collaboration and understanding in a way that elevates performance and nurtures relationships. We have deep experience combining our coaching, legal and mediation expertise and training to support clients to address complex dynamics within the leadership team, navigate conflict or seek alignment on strategic goals. Using a bespoke programme of 2:1 and 1:1 sessions, we create a confidential space for open dialogue. We have a proven record of helping pairs of leaders unlock new perspectives and build stronger partnerships, ultimately driving organisational success.

Our Approach

Our approach to 2:1 coaching and mediation – what we often call co-coaching –  is rooted in a deep understanding of interpersonal dynamics, effective communication and workplace culture. We employ a range of methodologies tailored to the specific needs of the individuals involved, focusing on enhancing mutual understanding, refining leadership skills and resolving conflict.

Each session is uniquely crafted to address the challenges at hand, ensuring that the process is collaborative, psychologically safe and aligned with both parties’ objectives. Our goal is to create an environment where leaders can engage authentically, enhancing both personal and team effectiveness.

2:1 Coaching & Mediation: The Rationale

Leaders often seek 2:1 coaching and mediation when they find themselves at an impasse, facing challenges in collaboration, or needing to resolve differences in vision or approach. Examples of our successful co-coaching engagements include supporting a current and a new CEO to effect a successful succession transition, or helping corporate team leaders resolve a major inter-personal conflict to allow the team to function effectively.

This service is particularly beneficial for senior leaders managing cross-functional teams or partnerships, as it enables them to build trust and strengthen relationships. By engaging in this tailored coaching process, leaders can gain clarity, resolve conflict, enhance their communication skills and ultimately cultivate a more cohesive and high-performing team environment.
